To strained the
human eyeballs as badly as possible.
To create masterpiece of miniature carving figures. |
This is a project that i started many months ago.
I started by carving from satay sticks and glue them together to form
an angelic figure. So far, i have created 5 pieces. There consist
of one angel, one spiderman, (yup!), and 3 fairies. The idea for this
project started when i was thinking of creating something miniature
that can be sculpted easiy. Clay was a good candiddate, but since
the type of muniature figures that i make is so small i do not have
the tools or expertise to do so yet. Hence the reason i chose wood
instead. Since i do not have mianiature surgical carving tools yet
(RM 80, at 1 utama and Tesco), i have decided to chose a less precise
tool, the cousin of the carving tools - the ordinary blade. It takes
about 1 week or so to create one of the figures and maybe 3 to 4 days
if i rush it. However you cannot do too much in a day as the fumes
from the glue will get overwhelming, not to mention your watery eyeballs.

To draw whatever that gives me

To create masterpiece that can be hang on my wall of fame. |
This is an evergoing project ever since i started
drawing. I drew a lot when i was younger, till i was around 15. After
that, i just stopped for a long time. I started to back in these recent
years. I have since learn to draw potraits and not so much on comics
anymore. However most of my potraits that i have drawn were given
to my friends as gifts. Nowadays i am much too busy to draw but i
will certainly find some time to draw. It is important to find interesting
and objects of my interest before i can draw anything. For this project
i have decided to go back to the past and start from comics again.
My skills are being rusty and it is up to me to sharpen it before
it is lost forever. I have since kept 3 of my favourite drawings.
The drawing was drawn way back when i was still in secondary school.
I would also like to thank my friend Jun Yi for her tips and pointers
on how to draw potraits.

I have started this project recently, for me to
sharpen the skills necessary for me to get a better job and for my
future career. Since graduating 2 months ago i was still unable to
get a job.( A total failure). However i won't let such small matter
get me down, in fact i will use the experience and enhance myself
before i venture out into the adult world. Most of my other frienf
have either worked before or working now. I will have to learn quickly
in order for me to catch up on the corporation ladder. I have a passion
for design and art but unfortunately i do not have the financial opportunity
to pursue my dream. Nevertheless i have chosen the fields of Multimedia
(related to art and design) and i should work towards it. My childhood
friend, Hui has advised me to learn more on programming and designing
software. I am still learning and will continue to learn as long as
it takes.
